We started this organization to change the number of women who pursue STEM degrees. According to the Bureau of Labor statistics, STEM jobs will increase 17 percent by 2024. Unfortunately females are underrepresented in the STEM education and workforce. Also, 74% of young girls express an interest in STEM, but many lose interest by time they enter college. Thus, we are dedicated to changing this trajectory through our programming and projects.
WHY WE STARTED
